What is Apache PDF Print E-mail
Apache is the name of the open source web server initially developed by Robert McCool. The Apache is the program that waits for any user requesting a specific web page on that server. So every time you enter something like http://www. it is most likely that the Apache program will answer that request. It when translated your input and searches for the page you wanted to look at. This will always be a HTML page. In the most basic version this will be just a plain HTML page consisting of a few tags to describe the page. These days it is far more likely that the HTML page will consist of lots of PHP commands as well which in turn query the MySQL database to create a dynamic website. After the page has been processed by PHP it is passed back to the Apache which will then send it via the HTTP protocol to the user you started all this activity by entering a www address in the browser address bar.
